Its probably something to do with your computer rather than the tablet.
Had same problem. Fixed it by completely rebooting the system.

I would suggest you could work without pen sensitivity, but that's not necessarily the best solution... my tablet's too old for my computer, so the drivers slowed it down and I uninstalled them, but now I run into the problem that I get all annoyed when I'm on a machine that DOES have pen sensitivity, 'cause I'm not used to it anymore. But for the moment, it could be an option.

Sounds like it could just be a program error. Try doing system restore to a day it was working good? (Don't forget to back up anything important first.)
