Looks like more people would rather have the Wednesday update nixed, so I'll be trying to stick to the usual Friday and Sunday schedule for now.
There will likely be some flexibility like this in the coming month or two as I get ready for my move. And I won't exactly have internet right after the move.

RE: Reader... They are only too happy to oblige

RE: Majin Tobias... EVERYONE RUN

RE: Shikome Kido Mi... Yeah, this issue's pretty hard on Amber. It'll be her rather painful turning point, in some ways.

RE: Stalker... hahaha I don't think he'd appreciate being called "cute" XD

RE: Pepper... thank you~ >3>

RE: Spartanc45... more like roast EVERYONE IN THE ROOM

RE: Almightyra... poor babies

RE: Mr BreaksIt... lolol XDD

RE: tribaloutcast... thanks! Should be another one up Sunday, though it may be another late-night update since I haven't even started inking it yet.

You should had hide in the closet. Better place to hide in my opinion.

Spartanc45, July 1st, 2012, 4:12 am

Silly Rebecca... Don't you know Steel Type is weak against Fire-Type?

Haha, sorry for my absence! But I'm back!

Looking forward to the next page! :D

Shouldn't that dude Manning is handling be somewhat more of a challenge? I mean, he's like the mentor person! Why is he being such a pansy?

It's occurred to me that the longer the story goes, the less sympathy I feel for Gail.
Gail's got her sad backstory, her genuine friendships, her romantic mishaps...all of which can and do contribute to our feelings of sympathy toward her. But as the story progresses, and she gets more and more opportunities to act like a horrid person, I find my goodwill toward her shrinking.
And with the past few pages? I just want the bitch to be taken down before she hurts more people.

comicgirl, July 1st, 2012, 11:38 pm

I'm actually a little inclined to agree with you.

Somewhere around the way, this just seems like she's using all that as an excuse to be a bitch and less like an understandable reason for the way she's acting.

Spartanc45, July 1st, 2012, 11:55 pm

@ comicgirl: I'd wager Jasper's stronger. As explained in either the first or second chapter, Will has regeneration and that's it. He doesn't have the super-strength or the ability to take quite as hard a hit as Gail or Amber.

@ Sun Tzu: I'm still squarely rooting for the villains here. If I must fight you over that, then I shall.

sun tzu, July 2nd, 2012, 12:49 am

@comicgirl: Hm...Has she actually been trying to EXCUSE her behavior, or just completely ignoring the moral angle? I might need to do a new archive binge...

@Spartanc45: I doubt we're going to need to fight, but I'll admit that seeing folks cheer for the bullies and sadists has gotten more disturbing for me lately.

Spartanc45, July 2nd, 2012, 1:10 am

@ Sun Tsu: I usually cheer for the heroes, but, in this case, the villain is far more interesting. Also, having been on the receiving end of the blind hatred and black-and-white morality Amber often displays, I find it a bit satisfying to see the likes of her get their comeuppance.

sun tzu, July 2nd, 2012, 5:38 am

I've rooted for villains at times - Thrawn comes to mind, as do some James Bond baddies (but that's mostly because Bond is such a pompous ass himself). But it seems to me that as time passes, I find myself doing so less and less often.
Gail is INTERESTING, no doubt, but I find her deeds too vile for me to look past. And while Amber is certainly flawed...I just don't care about these flaws half as much as about the fact that she's actually going out there and saving people's lives. I'm actually more interested in HER story.
Your mileage may (and clearly does) vary, of course. ;-)
