Can't believe I forgot to mention this last page, but there are much better charities out there to donate to than Salvation Army, so don't consider their mention an endorsement. They're just a commonly known one that Tabitha would think of.
RE: Hakked... Gail is easy that way XD
RE: Sekhmet... A mention of the SA doesn't make this a Christian comic. Same if I had a religious character start preaching simply because it'd be in-character. The box is labeled to SA because it's immediately recognizable, like Goodwill, as somewhere you donate to. More for visual simplicity of "look! donations!" than anything else. As for if any of them are religious, no, none of them are super religious. Most of them are agnostic or atheist. Some (like Amber and Tabitha) are a bit religious, but religion isn't a huge part of their lives.
RE: Subaru-ACE... yup, SA is a church-run orginazation, and they're uhhh a little sketchy. Supposedly they keep most of the money people donate for their church. I'd recommend Goodwill or Red Cross instead, personally. (i survived off a goodwill for a bit at one point)
RE: Calico Jack... I meant to bring that up in the author comments last page, but completely forgot bc I was in a rush to get the page up. I've been avoiding them like the plague for years as well.
